Job summary

Methods Machine Tools in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Parts & Service Coordinator to support field service, installations, preventive maintenance, and warranty repairs. This role focuses ~75% on service parts coordination and ~25% on backup service coordination.

You will work with service engineers, ARC, Parts, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and OEM partners to identify, source, and track parts, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain accurate records in ERP and service systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or technical coursework preferred.
• Experience in parts coordination and inventory management in industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of mechanical components and parts documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate parts required for field service calls, installations, preventive maintenance, and warranty repairs.
• Review service cases to identify required parts, quantities, locations, dates and technical information.
• Identify and coordinate sourcing of required service parts and initiate procurement.
• Maintain traceability among service cases, work orders, POs, shipments, warranty claims and returns.
• Provide backup service coordination during absences and high workload periods.
• Monitor open service parts requests and communicate shortages, substitutions, or lead-time risks.
• Support ERP and service management data accuracy and reporting.
