Job Description: The ideal candidate for the Service Coordinator role will be a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent time management and communication skills. The role requires strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay composed under pressure. The candidate should also demonstrate a proactive approach and the flexibility to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate service resources by dispatching and assigning technicians to mechanical service repairs
- Create accurate and detailed service orders to ensure technicians have the necessary information to complete repairs
- Interact with customers to ensure service orders are properly created and dispatched in a timely manner, meeting customer SLAs
- Generate repair quotes based on technician feedback
- Maintain ongoing communication with technicians throughout the day to effectively schedule manpower and meet customer needs
- Serve as the single point of contact for customers, vendors, and technicians, providing timely and accurate responses to inquiries
- Follow up on pending repairs to ensure timely processing and payment
- Monitor technician performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon KPIs
- Assist in identifying capacity gaps and sourcing new service providers as needed
- Ensure internal processes and procedures are followed to meet client SLAs
- Answer and transfer incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
- Collaborate with other departments to support company operations and initiatives
- Maintain organized filing systems, databases, and office supply inventories
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Assist with new employee onboarding and orientation
- Support inventory management and coordination of site deliveries
- Schedule and coordinate site visits
- Partner with the leadership team to help drive company-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- Prior remote work experience required
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
- Proficiency in customer interaction and vendor management
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and accurate in data entry
- Customer service-oriented approach
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
