Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) in Linden, NJ is seeking a Service Manager to lead our service operations, supervise staff, and coordinate with customers to deliver world-class service. This role focuses on optimizing resources, managing scheduling, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will oversee safety, training, and performance evaluations while driving branch performance and providing daily reporting.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in parts, fleets, and tank trailer service/repair preferred.
• Experience managing service operations and staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, assessing their service needs and quoting work.
• Delegate workloads and actively support growth.
• Oversee the open order aging report ensuring final invoices are presented timely.
• Oversee scheduling and workflow through the shop.
• Ensure employees are qualified to perform the work.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with NTTC, ASME/National Board and CFR regulations.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge within staff.
• Evaluate staff skills and arrange training as required.
• Review and present requisitions when additional tooling is required.
• Maintain staffing levels in balance with branch requirements.
• Provide daily reporting to Branch Manager and other duties as assigned.
• Assist in hiring for department staff.
• Conduct performance evaluations annually or as required.
• Know and enforce company policies and procedures.
