Job summary

Rexco Equipment, Inc. is seeking a Service Manager to run the department like a business, leading technicians, opening and closing work orders, and keeping work on track on the shop floor in Farley, IA.

The role requires 5–10 years of related experience, strong leadership and communication, and a disciplined, detail‑oriented mindset; you will mentor the team, manage warranties, and balance revenue against expenses while delivering reliable service.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of related experience; service writer/advisor background is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership skills with prior mentoring or management of people.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to bridge technicians and customers.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• Honest, direct, and comfortable with tough conversations.
• General computer proficiency across multiple systems.
• Business management degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a service team on the shop floor and manage the full service operation.
• Open and close work orders, monitor schedules, and file warranty claims.
• Balance revenue against expenses and develop action plans to hit goals.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance conversations, and team development.
