Job summary

Goodyear is seeking a Service Manager to gain hands-on experience in one of our auto service centers. You will manage the service department, schedule staff, and coordinate workflow to ensure quality work for guests.

The role focuses on driving service and tire sales, building guest relationships, and mentoring team members while upholding safety and quality standards across a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service management experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• No relocation is being offered for this position.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

General Description

• Build guest relationships and ensure guest satisfaction by being the liaison between technicians and guests.
• Responsible for contributing to the training and development of service department associates.
• Articulate all warranties, promotions, and advertisements.
• Utilize tools provided to make recommendations to guests based on manufacturing guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of previous Automotive Service management experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No relocation is being offered for this position.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous automotive service sales experience.
• Previous automotive service experience.
