GPAC is seeking a Service Manager for a well-respected heavy equipment company. The role focuses on filing warranty claims with manufacturers, scheduling technicians, and approving time off, supported by strong customer service skills.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in a Service Manager role or a background as a diesel technician/mechanic with management experience, and a track record of leadership in a fast-paced setting. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a Service Manager role or background as a Service Tech/Mechanic.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Develop contracts for contractors with ongoing equipment rentals or purchase needs.
• Train service staff in customer satisfaction and brand promotion.
• Manage scheduling system for all service work, internal and external.
• Operate work order systems, log invoices, and generate service invoices.
• Ensure manufacturer warranty and Product Improvement Program claims are filed timely.
• Schedule and assign jobs to employees by skill.
• Maintain service equipment and tools in good condition.
• Advise on purchasing service vehicles and maintenance records.
• Coordinate dealership training and service-related customer clinics.
• Maintain professional conduct at all times.
• Monitor monthly metrics to achieve department goals.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.
