Johnson Tractor Inc. is seeking a Service Manager for our Allenton location. The role focuses on leading a service team, solving problems, and keeping the service department running smoothly in a hands-on environment.
You will oversee work orders, coordinate with parts and sales, and drive process improvements to ensure high-quality service for customers. This is a full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities within the ag equipment field.

Respond to customer inquiries and concerns-both in-person and over the phone
Address and resolve service-related complaints
Motivate and provide performance feedback to service team members
Manage technician schedules and assign repair/setup work based on priority
Oversee service and shop vehicle maintenance (including forklifts)
Coordinate service workflow with parts and sales departments
Track and administer vendor-sponsored product improvement programs (PIPs)
Create, process, and audit work orders for accuracy and completeness
Ensure high-quality, efficient, and timely service for all customers
Monitor department productivity and implement process improvements
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of agricultural equipment and mechanical systems is a plus
Experience coordinating multiple departments and workflows
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Active role with time spent in the shop and front office
Fast-paced days managing schedules, work orders, and team performance
Regular interaction with customers and coordination across departments
A key leadership role that directly impacts customer satisfaction and shop success
