Jim Riehl's Friendly Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Romeo is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the service department. You will oversee daily operations, drive CSI, and build a trusted team of advisors and technicians in a franchised dealership setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and technician productivity
• Recruit, train, and manage service advisors and technicians
• Set and achieve department goals for revenue, gross profit, and CSI (customer satisfaction index)
• Ensure proper handling of warranty and recall work per Stellantis/FCA standards
• Oversee parts ordering communication, shop efficiency, and equipment upkeep
• Handle customer escalations professionally and resolve concerns promptly
• Monitor key performance metrics and report results to dealership leadership
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and manufacturer guidelines

Jim Riehl's Friendly Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Romeo is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our service department. If you're a hands-on leader who knows how to drive CSI, hit fixed ops targets, and build a team that customers trust, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

• Oversee daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and technician productivity
• Recruit, train, and manage service advisors and technicians
• Set and achieve department goals for revenue, gross profit, and customer satisfaction (CSI)
• Ensure proper handling of warranty and recall work in line with Stellantis/FCA standards
• Oversee communication of parts ordering, shop efficiency, and equipment upkeep
• Handle customer escalations professionally and resolve concerns promptly
• Monitor key performance metrics and report results to dealership leadership
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and manufacturer guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager at a franchised dealership (Stellantis/FCA brand experience preferred)
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Solid understanding of fixed ops financials (labor rates, gross profit, effective labor rate, etc.)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• ASE certifications a plus
