Job summary

Corvant is seeking a Service Technician III to perform installation, service, and maintenance on commercial HVAC systems. The role requires experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment, and a mindset geared toward learning and customer service excellence.

You will work on diverse facilities, adhere to codes and safety standards, and collaborate with teams to ensure reliable climate control solutions for data centers, healthcare, and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• HVAC knowledge and experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience with HVAC start-up/commissioning and leak detection.
• Familiarity with air quality systems and service testing devices.
• High school diploma; EPA certification; OSHA 10 preferred; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance for a variety of commercial equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.
• Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
• Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment
• Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning
• Working knowledge of HVAC concepts related to leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heath pumps and air quality systems,
• Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices
• Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
• OSHA 10 Preferred
• EPA Certified
• Valid Drivers’ License
• Minimum 10 plus years of HVAC experience required.

Physical requirements

• Required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
• Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
