ProLift Toyota Material Handling in the Midwest is seeking a Service Manager to oversee all aspects of the Service Department. You will provide leadership, set clear expectations for the team, remove obstacles, and collaborate with Sales, Rent and Parts to ensure technicians have what they need for repairs.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, 5–7 years of management experience, mechanical aptitude and service experience, plus excellent verbal and written communication

Job Summary

The Service Manager position is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our Service Department. This includes providing leadership and setting expectations for team members, removing obstacles to ensure efficient workflow across the service departments, and partnering with other departments to ensure the technicians have needed items for repairs.

General Duties And Responsibilities

• Coordinate service activity with Equipment Sales, Rent, and Parts Department


• Maintain and keep current the service library manuals and bulletins


• Assist sales people in satisfying customers\' needs


• Maintain credibility and confidence of customers


• Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling\'s philosophies, vision, strategies and value of \"Doing the Right Thing\"; Promote the TLM \"Toyota Lean Management\" philosophy

Educational/Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, five to seven years of management experience, mechanical aptitude and service experience, and display efficiency in Microsoft products such as Word, Outlook, and Excel. The Service Manager will communicate with associates, customers and managers, which requires excellent verbal and written communication skills with a particular emphasis on listening skills. The ideal candidate will protect the organization\'s values by maintaining confidential information utilizing their ability to handle sensitive information.
