Job summary

Overhead Door Company of Charlotte, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking a Service Manager to lead our door systems service and installation operations in Charlotte, NC. You will manage budgets, dispatch crews, and work directly with customers to ensure high-quality service.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience and a strong mechanical aptitude, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. You will develop technicians and office staff while upholding safety and service excellence across all

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; supervisory or managerial experience in a commercial building products company is a plus.
• Two+ years of work experience; supervisory/managerial responsibilities preferred.
• Excellent communicator who is highly organized and possesses good mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Manage department budget and P&L with control over labor and material costs.
• Directly assist with employee/job scheduling/dispatching and provide hands-on technical problem solving.
• Communicate with customers to ensure the highest quality service.
• Develop, train and hire technicians and office staff as necessary.

Overhead Door Company of Charlotte™, a DH Pace Company, Inc. aspires to hire a Service Manager in Charlotte, NC who will manage equipment, service, and installation technicians. This position will be very hands-on directly leading our entry door systems service and installation business with a high degree of customer interfacing.

Position Overview

• Will have department Budget and P&L responsibility with the expectation of effectively controlling labor and material costs
• Manage and directly assist with employee/job scheduling/dispatching and provide assistance with technical/mechanical trouble-shooting/problem solving
• Effectively communicate with customers, ensuring the highest quality service is always provided
• Develop, train and hire technicians, office administrative personnel and interns/management trainees as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
• Minimum two (2) years’ work experience; preferably with supervisory or managerial responsibilities with a commercial building products and materials company that fixes/repairs/installs equipment/products
• Must be an excellent communicator who is highly organized and possesses a good mechanical aptitude
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
