Job summary

General Services Corporation in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Service / Maintenance Technician III to service residents’ homes, install and repair appliances and HVAC units, and ensure a safe, well-maintained living environment.

You will complete service requests, comply with OSHA regulations, and apply strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills. EPA certification is required, a valid driver’s license, and a successful background check.

Qualifications

• HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry and electrical skills required.
• EPA Type 2 or Universal certification is mandatory.
• 3+ years of related maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Repair and/or install appliances and HVAC units to maintain quality living spaces.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older
• Have at least 3 years' experience in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills.
• Must be EPA Certified (Type 2 or Universal).
• HVAC installation experience.
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Passing a criminal background check required.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Initiative and customer service skill.
