Job summary

W3Global seeks an experienced Service & Aftermarket Leader for the Power Equipment Division in Richardson, TX, with remote options. You will build and lead a safe, technically strong service organization responsible for lifecycle service offerings across transformers, switchgear, and turnkey power solutions, from 33 kV to 500 kV, in the Americas.

You will define strategy, govern SOPs, manage field service, installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, warranty, spares, and contracts, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Power, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Typically 12+ years in power equipment, electrical infrastructure, or technical service.
• 5+ years leading a service organization or business.
• Experience with power transformers and high-voltage substations (33 kV to 500 kV).
• Willingness to travel frequently across the Americas; strong English, Spanish/Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define divisional service strategy, operating model, and governance.
• Build capability and qualified partner coverage across the Americas; hire and lead an A+ team.
• Lead service delivery from request through mobilization, field execution, and closeout.
• Develop lifecycle offerings including maintenance, commissioning, training, and long-term service agreements.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, testing, and energization readiness for transformers and MV equipment.
• Coordinate factory, engineering, commissioning, and specialist support; ensure documentation and handover.
