Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, quality food is prepared and served, while training a capable restaurant crew. The role requires staying on feet, promoting food safety, and assisting with various front- and back-of-house tasks.

Ideal candidates have restaurant experience, knowledge of cash handling policies, and the ability to communicate effectively in the work location's primary language.

Qualifications

• Must understand cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and health department matters.
• Familiar with handling office paperwork and administrative tasks.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature checks, shelf life, Daily Food Safety Checklist.
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office admin duties like banking, cash handling policies, and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment works and supplies are ordered.
• Ensure adequate quantity of supplies.
