Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Apex, NC is seeking a Service Leader to maintain an exceptional customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food is prepared and served. The role also focuses on training and supporting the restaurant crew to deliver great service and uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities include quality assurance, food safety enforcement, crew development, and collaboration with leadership on staffing and office tasks.

Qualifications

• Understanding Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Knowledge/experience with cash handling policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety and health department matters.
• Familiarity with office paperwork.
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma.
• Restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature on the line, shelf lives, and daily safety checklists.
• Help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross-train all front-of-house crew.
• Assist with crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered as necessary.
• Ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed.
