Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience, ensuring safe, quality food is served and that the restaurant crew is well trained. This role involves keeping a clean line, monitoring line equipment, and stepping in to help when busy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, restaurant experience, knowledge of cash handling, and strong food safety awareness. Tuition assistance and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma and restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety: hand washing, glove changes, time/temperature, shelf lives, daily checklist.
• Resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences.
• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and line schedules.
• Develop and cross train all front of house Crew.
• Assist with Crew performance reviews.
• Develop future Service Leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties: banking, cash handling policies and paperwork.
• Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered.
