THE OPPORTUNITY

The Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served; and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. He/she maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. The responsibilities of this position require Service Leaders to be on their feet working while clocked in, unless on break. If they are not busy, they are expected to evaluate what other tasks need to be completed and assist others with those tasks.

What You’ll Do
  • Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures, ensuring great tasting, high-quality food is served.
  • Help resolve food quality issues and support food safety, including hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature, secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies.
  • Address customer incidents and work to ensure positive customer experiences.
  • Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and line schedules.
  • Develop and cross-train all front of house Crew members.
  • Assist with Crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders.
  • Assist with office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, paperwork, and maintaining office equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure the proper quantity of supplies is available as needed.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
  • Understanding and articulation of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
  • Knowledge and experience with cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
  • Familiarity with office paperwork.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
  • High school diploma.
  • Restaurant experience.
