Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. invites student interns to gain hands-on experience in the heavy equipment field at a sponsoring store. You’ll diagnose and repair real equipment under mentorship, while building knowledge and professional skills for a future full-time career.

Eligible students must be enrolled in a recognized Heavy Equipment Service or Diesel Technology program, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate reliable attendance. Exciting incentives and company support accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or attending an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology, or technical program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and solid attendance to stay eligible for benefits.
• Hands-on experience using mechanical tools and on-the-job learning.
• Strong computer skills and a passion for customer service.
• Clear written and verbal communication; organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Valid US work authorization; no sponsorship needed.

Responsibilities

• Learn under a skilled mentor to diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair and service equipment.
• Document machine details and repair work on service orders with parts used.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized; handle tools and machines with care.
