Job summary

RDO Equipment Co. invites students to join Access Your Future Service Program, a paid internship path to become a Service Technician within our sponsoring stores across the U.S. This program offers structured training, real hands-on experience and a clear path to full-time employment.

Participants receive company-paid tools, a graduation sign-on bonus after completing education, and four years of post-graduation financial incentives as they begin their Technician career with RDO Equipment Co.

Qualifications

• Must enroll or be attending an approved Heavy Equipment Service, Diesel Technology or other technical service program approved by RDO Equipment Co.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) while in program.
• Maintain acceptable attendance record while in program.
• Provide transcripts and diploma to RDO Equipment Co. to receive the financial incentive and sign on bonus upon full-time employment.
• Adhere to academic policies and regulations of the higher learning center.

Responsibilities

• Partner with mentor to diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the supervisor.
• Document machine information and repairs completed on work order, including parts and fluids used.
• Maintain a clean work area and care for shop tools, machines, and equipment.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations and company policies as specified in manuals and handbook.
• Present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co. in front of customers and community.
• Seek and participate in company-sponsored training to develop knowledge and skills.
• Participate in company/location communication efforts (open book meetings, huddles, department meetings).
• Maintain positive relationships with peers and management, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
