The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of HVAC installation experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to read drawings and work both independently and with a crew. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Familiar with commercial HVAC systems.
• Completion of trade/vocational training or equivalent on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostic service on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot a variety of HVAC issues.
• Repair HVAC systems including rooftops, boilers, chillers, and split systems.
• Ensure peak performance through testing, adjustments and analysis.
• Communicate system issues and recommended solutions to clients.
• Document all activities, materials used and conditions professionally.
• Maintain clean work area and company vehicle, adhering to safety standards.
• Support long-term client relationships with excellent service and technical expertise.

MIELKE Mechanical Holdings, Inc. is currently searching for a full-time Service HVAC Technician to join their team in Columbus, Ohio. We are looking for experienced and self-motivating leaders to help our Service Division grow!

• Pay: $40 - $48/hour, offer dependent on experience

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Full time
• 8-hour shift
• There may be travel as far as Mansfield

The right candidate will have:

• Experience: 10+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Certifications: EPA Universal Certification.

Our HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for:

• Performing preventive maintenance and diagnostic service on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Responding to service calls and troubleshooting a variety of HVAC issues efficiently and effectively.
• Completing repair work on HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and more.
• Ensuring systems are operating at peak performance through detailed testing, adjustments, and performance analysis.
• Communicating clearly with clients about system issues, repair options, and recommended solutions.
• Documenting all service activities, materials used, and system conditions in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area and company vehicle, while adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
• Supporting long-term client relationships through exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
