Job summary

Ambient Enterprises in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to perform startup and service of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair and maintain systems for commercial applications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field experience, EPA Universal, owns hand tools, a clean driving record, and can mentor others. OSHA 10/30 preferred; manufacturing certifications are a plus.

Job Description

The Role

HVAC Service Technician (Columbus, Ohio)

Our HVAC Service Technicians specialize in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. We are searching for both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians to help support the growing service business. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVACsystems, be dependable, independent, and have communication and organizational skills. This role would serve our Columbus, Ohio area.

Requirements

• 5+ years of field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Must have knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• Startup experience.
• Mentored others in the field.
• EPA Universal.
• Must have your own hand tools.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• OSHA 10-hour training certification and OSHA 30 (preferred).
• Master HVAC-Ris a plus.
• Manufacturing certifications(i.e. Aaon, Smart Chiller, Samsung, ClimaCool, ClimateMaster, etc. - preferred)
• Self-starter, great communication skills, timely
