The position entails planning, coordinating staff, reviewing bid documents, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements. Travel, nights, weekends, and overtime are required as needed, with opportunities for growth in a leading electrical contractor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience as a commercial electrician.
• 3+ years leading large electrical projects as Foreman.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Manager with planning, organization, and staffing for assigned projects.
• Analyzes bid documents and site conditions to outline scope of work.
• Identifies risks in scope of work to cover related costs.
• Establishes objectives, procedures, and performance standards to complete scope of work per contract documents.
• Manages team of electricians, assigns daily tasks, and provides materials/equipment.
• Tracks crew labor hours, material procurement, scheduling equipment, and daily production reporting.
• Leads safety meetings and ensures PPE usage.
• Runs conduit/wire and installs/terminates devices.
• Performs troubleshooting and quality control testing.
• Conducts pre-bid surveys, kickoff meetings, progress walks, and turnover.
