Job summary

Rogers Electric in Modesto, CA is seeking a Service Foreman to lead our field crews on commercial electrical projects. You’ll assist PMs, review drawings, and ensure safe, on-time delivery of scopes of work.

You’ll manage electricians, monitor labor hours, coordinate materials, and report progress with ProCore. Travel, nights, weekends, and overtime are required; excellent communication and blueprint-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field experience as a commercial electrician.
• 3+ years of field experience as a Foreman overseeing large electrical projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) in a professional manner.
• Ability to prioritize tasks by deadlines and urgency.
• Experience creating and updating reports and documents using company systems.
• ProCore experience and daily progress reporting.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Willingness to travel, work nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with planning, organization, and staffing for projects.
• Analyze bid documents and site conditions to define scope and costs.
• Identify risks in scope to ensure costs are covered.
• Set objectives, policies, and performance standards per contract documents.
• Manage electricians, assign tasks, and provide materials/equipment.
• Track crew hours, procure materials, schedule equipment, and report progress.
• Lead safety meetings and enforce PPE usage.
• Run conduit/wire and install/terminate devices.
• Troubleshoot and perform quality control testing.
• Conduct pre-bid surveys, kick-off meetings, progress walks, and turnover.
