Job summary

Community Living Alliance (CLA) is a nonprofit serving older adults and people with disabilities. This full-time role requires in-home and office work with potential remote tasks after competency.

You will support recovery, coordinate services, and assist with community resources in Dane County. We offer health/dental/vision, flexible spending, life insurance, PSLF, and retirement plans, plus mileage reimbursement and opportunities for growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Six months experience working with individuals with mental health or substance use conditions.
• Six months experience providing psychosocial rehabilitation services, unless degree obtained.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance to travel.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in clients' homes, office, and potentially remotely after competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery support using a strengths-based, culturally humble approach.
• Coordinate services relevant to recovery plans and community supports.
• Engage participants with motivational, collaborative goal planning.
• Provide screening, service linkage, and trauma-informed support.
• Assist participants in identifying community and professional supports.
• Maintain contact to support engagement and track progress.

Schedule: Mon‑Fri, 8:30AM‑4:30PM, NO WEEKENDS!

Compensation: $23-25/hr depending on education and experience

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for individuals working toward recovery using a supportive, strengths‑based, and culturally humble approach to treatment
• Facilitate and coordinate services relevant to individuals’ recovery plans and community support needs
• Utilize effective strategies to engage program participants, enhance motivation, and encourage meaningful, collaborative, and strength's‑based goal‑planning and progress
• Provide screening and assessments, service linkage, service facilitation and other allowable and appropriate services on the CCS service array in a manner that is trauma‑informed, culturally relevant and non‑stigmatizing
• Assist the program participant with identifying and establishing natural and professional supports in the community
• Maintain contact with program participants to a degree sufficient to support effective engagement as well as monitor and assist progress

Education / Experience

Required

• Six (6) months experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use conditions, intellectual or physical disabilities, chronic health conditions or seniors
• Six (6) months experience providing psychosocial rehabilitation services to individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis, required. (Note: Six (6) months providing psychosocial rehabilitation services not required if you have degree)
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance to travel throughout Dane County
• Pass a WI Caregiver Background Check
• Ability to work around environmental hazards such as odors, second‑hand smoke, animals, cleaning supplies, adverse living conditions, etc
• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

• Bachelor/Master's Degree in Mental Health, Human Services (related field)
• Case management experience, community based mental health services and/or working with people with disabilities
• Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) credential in Dane County WI
