Job summary

Community Living Alliance seeks a part-time caregiver to provide personal care and housekeeping in clients' homes. Training is provided, and shifts range from 1 to 3 hours with flexible scheduling to fit other commitments. You may work with one or multiple clients, depending on hours desired and location.

Pay is $15.75 per hour during training or care, with an additional $1 per hour on weekends. CLA emphasizes autonomy and work-life balance and offers growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Own a Smart Phone for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV).
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Capable of lifting/moving/pushing/pulling 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to individuals in their own home.
• Perform housekeeping tasks as per client care plan.
• Follow client care plans and schedules; shifts range from 1 to 3 hours.
• Participate in training programs offered by CLA.

Position Summary:

A person in this role will provide personal care and housekeeping services to individuals in their own home. Community Living Alliance provides all necessary training, so no experience is required. The schedule for this position is flexible and you can work around other jobs, childcare, school schedule, or other life scenarios. You can choose to work with one client, or with multiple clients if you want more hours. Each shift ranges from 1 to 3 hours. We have clients on bus routes or within walking distance depending on your location!

While each person is unique and has different care needs, below is a sample of personal cares you may provide while caring for an individual at Community Living Alliance:

• Personal cares (Includes but not limited to)
  • Showering/grooming
  • G-tube
  • Dressing
  • Meal preparation
  • Transfers/repositioning
  • Toileting (Full assist)
  • Bowel programs
• Housekeeping
• Any additional cares provided in the client's individual care plan
