Service Express Technician Description

The Express Technician plays a critical role in our Service Department, creating an impression of efficiency and credibility with customers. The role involves performing maintenance services such as oil changes and tire rotations, and recommending additional services based on vehicle condition, operation, and mileage, all while maximizing productivity.

The Technician works collaboratively with other staff to provide basic maintenance and service repairs efficiently. They should be capable of diagnosing and troubleshooting basic mechanical problems using diagnostic tools, executing tire installations, balancing, and alignments with safety standards.

Effective communication with service advisors for repair recommendations, along with proficient knowledge of automotive systems (engines, brakes, electrical components), is advantageous. Familiarity with our technological platforms including CDK, Drive Centric, Rapid Recon, Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), and manufacturer websites is expected.

This position requires a valid driver’s license and an acceptable records check.
