CarMax Raleigh is seeking a Service Consultant to be the trusted link between customers and our technicians, guiding through the service and repair process with clear communication and personalized support.

You will document concerns, prepare repair orders, discuss recommended repairs, and ensure accurate invoicing while coordinating workflow in a fast-paced setting and upholding CarMax EH&S standards. This role emphasizes exceptional service and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to interpret and record data accurately with intermediate computer skills.
• Comfort collaborating across departments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong telephone etiquette and active listening for customer interactions.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to CarMax standards and procedures.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in indoor/outdoor conditions.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and engage customers with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a positive service experience from start to finish.
• Accurately document customer concerns and create detailed repair orders for technicians; provide timely updates on vehicle status.
• Consult with customers on recommended repairs and explain service details clearly.
• Review completed work for accuracy and prepare invoices for billing.
• Process service payments and manage cash transactions responsibly.
• Coordinate workflow efficiently to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow CarMax EH&S requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
