Experis seeks a Service Engineer to manage release notes for external Office releases, coordinate the pre-Patch Tuesday task list, and support Mac and iOS release activities across platforms.

Bring 5–7 years of hands-on release management experience, strong technical writing, and a solid CS foundation. You will document requirements, specifications, and test plans, assist unit testing, validation, and bug resolution during and after releases.

What's the Job?

Manage release notes for external Office releases, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and ready for distribution. Execute the pre-Patch Tuesday task list and coordinate completion of required steps to support release readiness. Support Mac and iOS Office release activities, helping drive smooth delivery across platforms. Fine-tune and improve sophisticated software implementation efforts by gathering and analyzing system requirements and documenting specifications. Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans, then support unit testing, validation, and bug resolution during and after release activities.

What's Needed?

5-7 years of relevant experience, including hands-on release management experience. Office release experience is preferred. Strong technical writing skills, including the ability to document requirements, specifications, and test plans clearly. Solid foundation in computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and software design. Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems.
