£17.00 per hour

This role combines factory-based work with mobile field service activities, providing a varied and hands-on environment. The successful candidate will carry out repairs, servicing, inspections, and fault diagnosis both at company facilities and at customer locations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and repair specialist vehicle bodies and associated equipment on customer vehicles.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults, implementing effective solutions efficiently.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, operators, and dealership personnel.
- Carry out routine inspections to ensure equipment remains compliant with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Work closely with internal departments to identify opportunities for product and service improvements.
- Accurately document maintenance, repair, and warranty activities.
- Keep up to date with new technologies, product developments, and industry best practices.
- Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or similar role within the commercial vehicle, automotive, agricultural, plant, or heavy machinery sectors.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills, particularly in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with commercial vehicle systems would be advantageous.
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:45pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm
