Job summary

ACS Performance in Hertford is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to install, service and maintain compressed air and vacuum equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs and ensure safety and efficiency while building strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain compressed air and vacuum equipment and associated systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Liaise with the Service Department to ensure timely completion and scheduling.
• Keep customers and colleagues updated on job progress.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for improvements or additional customer requirements and communicate internally.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Service Engineer to join a growing engineering business based in Hertford. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems, and delivering outstanding customer service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining compressed air and vacuum equipment at customer sites, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently while building strong working relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain compressed air and vacuum equipment, including associated systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Liaise with the Service Department to ensure work is completed efficiently and to schedule.
• Keep customers and colleagues updated on the progress of jobs.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation.
