Job summary

Komax is seeking a field service technician to install, repair, and maintain Komax machines at customer sites or in-house, delivering timely support and ensuring equipment reliability.

The role requires a bachelor’s in electronics, 3+ years of service experience, ERP/CRM familiarity, strong communication, and a safety-conscious, detail-oriented approach; relocation not provided. Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely phone support.
• Set up, install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Komax machines in-house or at customer sites.
• Review and prepare parts and equipment for return to stock condition.
• Document activities and attach to CRM; coordinate with sales/service teams.
• Maintain CRM customer and unit history with clear entries.
• Maintain a neat, organized workspace at desks and sites.
• Coordinate with other departments for equipment needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Provide accurate and timely phone support.

• Reviews and prepares, parts and equipment for return to stock condition.
• Complete and provide all necessary documentation to customer, sales, and service supervisor and attach it to CRM for in‑house work or work at customer sites in a timely manner.
• Maintain customer and unit history on the CRM database.
• Input of interactions with customers, sales, etc., must be entered into the CRM database clearly and concisely.
• Maintain a neat and organized environment at a desk, in‑house work areas, and at customer sites.
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments or personnel when equipment is needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Relocation not provided.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics or related experience required

Qualifications/Experience

• Customer service experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with skills in training, installing, and repairing various models of industrial micro‑processor‑controlled equipment preferred
• Experience working with ERP and CRM systems preferred

Required Skills

• MS Office.
• General personal computer knowledge.
• Must be able to read and comprehend electrical schematics and drawings.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a strong electro‑mechanical aptitude.
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing units to ensure the work is accurate and complete.
• Good manual dexterity, fine motor skills, vision, and hearing
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist high alone and to handle up to 100lbs with assistance.
• Prolonged standing, sitting, stooping, and bending.
