Job summary

Holman Enterprises in Pembroke Pines, FL, is seeking a Drive Technician to maintain the vehicle lot, move and relocate cars, and support the workshop during repairs and customer deliveries.

You will test drive dealership-owned vehicles, follow all traffic rules, and assist with oil changes, tire rotations, and parts pickups. A high school diploma or related auto program, plus a valid drivers license with a clean record, and experience with both automatic and manual transmissions are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or one year of related autoexperience, equivalent technical auto program.
• Must have a valid drivers license with an excellent driving record
• Experience operating both standard shift and manual vehicles

Responsibilities

• Maintaining vehicle lot to ensure organization for service and monitoring workflow for cars to be moved for repairs and customer delivery.
• Move and relocate cars; ensure vehicles have full tanks of fuel; may assist with oil changes and tire rotations; collect parts and batteries from the shop.
• Verifies receipt of and performs a damage inspection.
• Provide assistance to the workshop by completing tasks defined by the trainer/team leader or Shop Foreman, keeping snacks/sodas/coffee stocked.
• Must be able to complete designated tasks and vehicular repair with due diligence to avoid further damage to customers' vehicles.
• Able to follow all road rules and posted speed limits while driving customer and dealership-owned vehicles on road tests.

BMW of Pembroke Pines is looking for a Drive Technician to join the Holman Family!

What will you do?

The Drive Technician is also responsible for:

• Responsible for maintaining vehicle lot to ensureorganization for service, as well as monitoring workflow to ensure cars are efficiently moving within and out of the shop for repairs and customer delivery.


• Move and relocate cars and ensure that allvehicles contain full tanks of fuel, may assist with oil changes and tire rotations, emptying oil buckets, collecting large parts and batteries from the shop.


• Verifies receipt of and performs a damageinspection


• Provide assistance to the workshop by completing tasks defined by the trainer/team leader or Shop Foreman, keeping the snacks/sodas/coffee stocked.


• Must be able to work with due diligence to complete the designated tasks and vehicular repair so as to avoid additional damage to the customer’s vehicle.


• Able to follow all rules of the road and posted speed limits while driving customer and dealership owned vehicles while on road tests.

Pay:
