Job summary

McGavock Nissan Lubbock is seeking a Service Porter to support daily service department operations and maintain the appearance of customer vehicles. You will assist service advisors and technicians, manage the service drive, and ensure a clean, organized customer area.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, moving vehicles safely, washing and preparing vehicles for delivery, and coordinating shuttle runs. Flexibility for Saturdays and a strong attention to detail are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
• Flexible schedule, including Saturdays, as required by dealership operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
• Move customer and dealership vehicles safely between the service drive, parking areas, and service bays.
• Keep the service drive, customer waiting area, and parking lot clean, organized, and presentable.
• Wash, vacuum, and prepare customer vehicles for delivery after service.
• Assist with vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are properly tagged and parked.
• Shuttle vehicles to and from other dealership locations or vendors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of loaner vehicles and dealership inventory.
• Support service advisors and technicians with miscellaneous tasks to improve workflow.
• Monitor parking areas and maintain an orderly vehicle inventory.
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and traffic regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by service management.
