Job summary

McGavock Auto Group is seeking a Service Porter to support the service department's daily operations. You will maintain customer vehicle appearance, organize the service drive, and assist service advisors and technicians to ensure a smooth workflow.

This role requires a friendly, prompt, and courteous approach, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
• Move vehicles between drive, parking areas, and service bays.
• Keep service drive and waiting areas clean and organized.
• Wash, vacuum, and prepare vehicles for delivery after service.
• Assist with vehicle inspections and tagging/parking.
• Shuttle vehicles to other dealership locations or vendors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of loaner vehicles and inventory.
• Support service advisors and technicians to improve workflow.
• Monitor parking areas and vehicle inventory for orderliness.
