This role requires managing repair orders and shop workflow, with a focus on strong communication and organization skills. Responsibilities

• Assign repair orders to technicians based on skill level, efficiency, and availability.
• Monitor shop workflow and technician productivity.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Technicians.
• Track vehicle status and provide updates to advisors.

• Assist with quality control and time management on shop repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area.
• Support leadership in achieving departmental goals for productivity, CSI, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign repair orders to technicians based on skill level, efficiency, and availability
• Monitor shop workflow and technician productivity to maintain an even, efficient workload
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Technicians, and the Parts Department
• Review repair orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper MPI/video documentation
• Track vehicle status and provide updates to advisors on progress or delays
• Assist with quality control and time management on shop repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area
• Support leadership in achieving departmental goals for productivity, CSI, and efficiency

Qualifications

• Prior technician experience or extensive automotive repair knowledge is required
• Proven ability to manage shop workflow and prioritize repairs
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Knowledge of warranty procedures and repair order documentation
• Familiarity with CDK or similar DMS software preferred
