Facility Solutions Group in Houston is seeking a Service Dispatcher to schedule and manage field technicians for lighting, electrical, and energy projects. You will review customer work orders, allocate appropriate technicians, and relay essential details to the team.

Strong Excel and communication skills are required, with daily commuting to the Houston facility. The ideal candidate has knowledge of lighting maintenance, experience dispatching crews, and a customer-focused approach to service

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience in scheduling/dispatching.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to report to facility Mon-Fri 7a-5p and pass drug/background checks.
• Experience in lighting/electrical is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare work orders and distribute to field technicians.
• Schedule service calls and dispatch technicians.
• Maintain records of service calls and work orders.
• Update and maintain service management system with notes and status.
• Audit and close completed work orders.
• Update customers with schedules and lead times.
• Maintain contract database and service contracts changes.
• Communicate clearly with managers, crew and customers.
• Manage daily lifecycle of a work order from opening to update.

Job Description

As a Service Dispatcher, you will examine and analyze customer work order requests and schedule theappropriate field technician, relaying important information such as contact person, service to be rendered, orarticle to be repaired. The ideal candidate knows lighting maintenance strategies, has experience inscheduling crews, and has great customer service skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be able tocommute to our facility in Houston daily and have Excel and other computer knowledge. We are looking forcareer-minded individuals who will grow with our company.

Responsibilities

A Service Dispatcher will:

• Prepare work orders and distribute them to field technicians.
• Schedule service calls and dispatch field technicians.
• Keep a record of service calls and work orders.
• Update and maintain the service management system with complete notes and current status.
• Audit and close completed work orders.
• Update customers with schedules and material lead times.
• Maintain and update the contract database and administer changes to service contracts.
• Maintain clear and concise communications with department managers, crew, and customers.
• Adhere to the requirements and specific needs of National Accounts customers.
• Daily maintain the complete life cycle of a work order: open, create, schedule, and update all work orders.
• Audit of Daily Service Management report Service Stats and Quality report.

Qualifications

Requirements and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• One year experience in scheduling/dispatching.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to report to facility Mon-Fri 7a-5 pm.
• Must be able to pass drug and background screen.
• Knowledge of Lighting is preferred inclusive of lamp types, ballasts, and transformers.
• Ability to read and interpret field paperwork, and job quotes.
• Ability to multitask while staying organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive customer service skills.
• Experience in lighting and electrical is a plus!
