Job summary

Lakeside Foods is seeking a Service Desk Specialist to provide first-level IT support to internal and external users, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive user experience.

This on-site role is based at our Weston, Oregon Facility. You will handle tickets via phone, email, chat, and portal, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with onboarding, and contribute to knowledge base development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in a computer-related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• ITIL certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, chat, and the Service Desk portal.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and user access issues.
• Escalate issues requiring advanced technical support to the appropriate IT teams.
• Track, update, and resolve incidents and service requests through the ticketing system.
• Follow up with users to ensure complete resolution and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and support activities.
• Create and update knowledge base articles and support documentation.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including hardware and software setup.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special IT projects.
• Provide occasional support at Lakeside Foods facilities as needed.
