Job summary

Lakeside Foods Packaging Center in Manitowoc, Wisconsin is seeking an Automation Attendant Team Member. You will monitor production lines, ensure clean workstations, and support safe, efficient packaging operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (GED preferred), basic math skills, the ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and can work independently while following all safety procedures. Lakeside Foods offers competitive wages and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret gauges and monitors on equipment.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment to ensure proper product assembly.
• Keep workstation clean and free of hazards.
• Maintain open communication with team members.
• Address production equipment issues and perform fixes as needed.
• Clean equipment and perform housekeeping of the line.
• Remove faulty bags from the assembly line.
• Inspect products for quality standards.
• Affix labels and logos to products.
• Set up box former and ensure supply of boxes.
• Oversee robot pickers and palletizers; adjust belting for changes.
• Set up and adjust box taper and sticker machine.
• Meet production deadlines.
• Follow Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitors equipment to ensure that products are being assembled properly.
• Makes sure that workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.
• Maintains an open line of communication with all employees.
• Addresses problems with production equipment and machinery and fixes them as needed.
• Cleans equipment and performs general housekeeping of line.
• Removes faulty assembled poly bags from assembly line.
• Inspects assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards.
• Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
• Sets up box former, keep full of boxes, attend to glue pot and replenish.
• Oversees robot pickers and robot palletizers, choose recipes, adjust belting for box changes.
• Sets up and adjusts box taper and sticker machine, ensures proper performance and material used/printed.
• Ensures that all production deadlines are met.
• Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
