Job summary

PSECU in Harrisburg, PA seeks a Technology Support Intern to gain hands-on experience maintaining enterprise IT operations. You will configure, install, and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers, assist with hardware refreshes, and help resolve daily Service Desk tickets, exposing you to Security Operations and Network Operations.

Schedule is flexible up to 20 hours per week and the position is 100% onsite at the Elmerton location.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma is required.
• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS for the duration of the internship.
• Must be at least 18 years old at hire.
• An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers across multiple locations.
• Assist with annual PC hardware refresh and equipment lifecycle management.
• Respond to and resolve Service Desk incidents promptly, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Coordinate equipment setup, teardown, and relocation with minimal disruption.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Technology Support Intern plays a key role in ensuring smooth technology operations across the organization. This hands‑on position focuses on configuring, installing, and supporting user devices-including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers-while assisting with hardware refreshes and resolving daily support tickets. Ideal for tech‑savvy problem solvers, this role offers exposure to enterprise IT environments and the opportunity to learn best practices in asset management and service delivery.
This internship will provide exposure to a broad range of technology areas, including Security Operations, Desktop Support, Network Operations, Development, and Data Analytics.
