Job summary

The University of Tampa is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to provide first-line IT support for campus systems, applications, accounts, devices, and peripherals. You will respond to requests in person, by phone, or electronically and document resolutions in the ticketing system.

Responsibilities include diagnosing hardware and software issues, configuring PCs and Macs to security standards, managing Microsoft 365 and AD tasks, and assisting student employees while contributing to process

Qualifications

  • Passion for customer service and effective communication.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and service desk support.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune.
  • Ability to learn University software like Workday quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, by phone, and electronically.
  • Log, manage, and document service requests in the designated ticketing system.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, account, and connectivity issues.
  • Configure PC and Mac computers to meet University security standards and policies.
  • Assist student employees and contribute to knowledge sharing and process improvements.
