Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Technician to provide on-site and remote support for software and hardware across the Anduril tech-fleet. You will handle tickets, configure Windows, Linux and macOS endpoints, and help maintain inventory and asset management.

The role requires at least 3 years in a service desk, detailed orientation, experience with ticketing systems (Jira Service Management), and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of PC and Apple hardware.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience with a ticketing system and managing a ticket queue.
  • Willing to participate in a weekly on-call rotation.
  • Must be able to travel.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will support key day-to-day processes such as: technical support for software and hardware, configuring Windows, Linux and Apple computers with latest software and assisting with various upgrades across the Anduril tech-fleet. You will also support in maintaining Anduril’s inventory and asset management program.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for software and hardware.
  • Handle tickets in the Jira Service Management system.
  • Identify persistent problems and recurring failures and escalate to the engineering team.
  • Windows, Linux and Apple computers. Configuring systems to ensure the latest software updates, device management and the Anduril security stack are installed for each endpoint.
  • Inventory and Asset management of all endpoint hardware.
  • Support and license administration of end user software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Adobe, Lucid, Matlab, etc.
  • Identify knowledge articles and SOPs for end users and internal IT.
  • Assist with ongoing operational improvements and implementation projects as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a service desk technical role.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC and Apple hardware.
  • Extremely detailed oriented.
  • Experience with a ticketing system and managing a ticket queue.
  • Must participate in a weekly on call rotation.
  • Must be able to travel if necessary.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with Linux.
  • Experience with AWS Virtual Workspaces.
  • Experience with MDM.

US Salary Range

$77,000 - $102,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
