Crownstone Equipment is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service department, supervise technicians, and drive operational excellence at our Frederick, MD location. You will oversee shop and field service activities, coach staff, and ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

You will partner with the Branch Manager and Service Writer to optimize scheduling, workflow, and performance, while developing employees and upholding company

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in heavy equipment or related service environments.
• Proven leadership, supervision, and people management abilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and coach staff.
• Familiarity with repair estimates, work orders, parts coordination, and invoicing.

Responsabilités

• Directly supervise service technicians and set clear productivity and quality expectations.
• Manage Shop and Field Service workload, prioritization, and scheduling.
• Provide timely customer updates on repair status and delays.
• Coordinate with the Service Writer and Branch Manager to align staffing and workflow.
• Monitor performance metrics, drive continuous improvement, and address issues promptly.
• Support onboarding, training, and technician development programs.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and accurate documentation for all repairs.
