Lithia & Driveway is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in directing service staff and achieving targets. You will help hire and develop a winning team while ensuring compliance with policies and high customer service standards.

The role offers a commission-based earnings plan and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should have automotive service department experience and a valid driver's license. Excellent teaching and leadership skills are required.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership service department experience.
• Excellent teaching, presentation and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and computer use.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Direct service staff to achieve exceptional customer service and performance targets.
• Hire, train and develop Service Department personnel to build a winning team.
• Liaise between the store and Support Services Fixed Operations, ensuring policy compliance.
• Train and mentor Service Advisors and technicians; resolve customer requests and concerns.
• Inspect repair orders for legibility, accuracy and legality.
• Ensure manufacturer policies and procedures are followed.
• Manage administration, tracking and follow-up for warranty, receivables, and service contracts.
