Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking a Service Delivery Technician III to provide end-user IT support for VF employees. You will troubleshoot, document, and resolve hardware and software issues, while delivering excellent customer service and supporting our day-to-day IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities include deploying hardware, supporting Zoom and collaboration tools, and maintaining inventory. The role requires flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, with up to 20% travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • AA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technology field preferred.
  • Technical certifications such as MCSE, MCTS, A+ or Cisco preferred.
  • Experience in IS/IT environments with workstation hardware, software and networks.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers in team settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Available to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation including weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, triage, and resolve technical problems of moderate complexity.
  • Document, track, and monitor problems using incident management systems.
  • Provide end-user support for computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues.
  • Accept projects, develop work plans, and ensure timely completion.
  • Install and support hardware such as desktops, laptops, printers, VoIP, scanners, tablets and related software.
  • Assist IT Platforms (Zoom, backups, servers, networks) as needed for projects and day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain inventory of PCs and peripherals and monitor performance against benchmarks.
  • Provide training on new technologies to help staff adapt and use tools effectively.
  • Deliver tech-bar style face-to-face support for VF associates
  • Support conferencing and collaboration technologies (Audio/Visual, Zoom, telephony).
  • Configure and deploy hardware per VF standards.
  • Meet the requirement for flexible scheduling and on-call duty.

The primary responsibility of the Service Delivery Technician III is to provide end user services support to VF employees that will allow them to efficiently utilize technology to complete their work. The Service Delivery Technician II will provide advanced technical support while accurately utilizing the incident and request management system to respond to customer needs. You will elevate the customer service experience by providing exceptional customer service.

  • Accurately, document, track, and monitor problems using applicable systems and tools.
  • Provide support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues.

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and a desire to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Installation and Support of company required hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, VoIP, scanners, phones, tablets) and software.
  • Be a resource to the IT Platforms (Zoom, Local Backups, Local Servers, Local Networks, etc.) that may need assistance with Projects and support of the day to day IT Infrastructure at the location they support
  • Help maintain an accurate stockroom inventory of personal computer devices (laptops/desktops) and peripherals (monitors, keyboards, docks)
  • Monitor hardware and application performance based on expected benchmarks and provide feedback to the EUS Leadership
  • Assist users with new technology training when introducing new offerings (MFA, OneDrive, Self Service, etc.) helping the VF workforce to adapt and embrace technology to work more efficiently
  • Provide tech bar type service for face to face engagement with VF associates
  • Support conferencing/collaboration technology leveraging VF solutions of Audio/Visual displays (Zoom, telephony, etc...)
  • Hardware configuration and deployment following VF standards
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Other duties as assigned

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
