Job summary

EY is seeking a highly experienced Pega Architect to lead delivery for enterprise clients in a dynamic consulting environment. The role involves technical analysis, solution design, and hands-on development using Pega and related technologies.

You will guide onshore/offshore teams, shape architectures, estimate effort, and support sales proposals while building reusable assets. Strong leadership, client-facing skills, and advanced Pega expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.
• Minimum 3 years implementing Pega with teams of 3+ people; 3 years Pega 8.x/Infinity experience.
• Pega Senior System Architect certification at minimum; Lead System Architect preferred.
• 4 years of experience with relational databases (SQL Server/MySQL/Oracle/DB2/Access).
• 4 years with low-code/no-code platforms; Object-Oriented programming concepts; and/or agile software development process.
• 4 years with Java, Python, C++, C#, and/or .NET development.
• 2 years leading teams of developers on PEGA projects.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

Provide clients with Pega technical analysis of requirements, solution architecture, and design. Advise engagement team members and deliver a variety of Pega based solutions using core Pega and other suites of technologies. Design, architect and develop advanced configuration solutions using Pega solutions keeping big picture in mind, meeting or exceeding best practices. Understand current, future client needs and develop roadmap keeping complexity, feasibility, business value of features and functionality. Work with developers to estimate effort, plan onshore/offshore staffing mix, and manage financials of complex engagements. Work with Managers and Senior Managers to support them in sales proposals, as well as supporting the development of assets and accelerators. Mentor junior staff resources on project cadence and technology ramp up.

Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.
• Must have a minimum for 3 years of experience implementing Pega, including hands on experience with configuration and customizations, with teams of 3 or more people, with at least 3 years of the required experience in Pega 8.x and/or Pega Infinity.
• Must be a certified Pega Senior System Architect at the minimum
• (Certified Pega Lead System Architect is preferred)
• Must have 4 years of experience using relational databases including in one or a combination of any of the following: SQL Server, MySQL, Access, Oracle, and/or DB2.
• Must have 4 years of experience with one or a combination of any of the following:
  • low-code/no-code development platforms;
  • Object-Oriented programming concepts; and/or
  • agile software implementation process.
• Must have 4 years of experience with computer software configuration or development experience in one or a combination of any of the following technologies: Java, Python, C++, C#, and/or .NET.
