Our client is seeking an experienced Pega Lead System Architect to provide technical direction across enterprise application architecture, platform strategy, and integration initiatives. This person will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate organizational needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing Pega solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior technical authority for Pega architecture and platform-level decisions.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
- Establish architecture strategies that align application and infrastructure capabilities with broader business objectives.
- Guide engineering teams through solution design, implementation, deployment, and performance improvements.
- Ensure solutions follow applicable security, compliance, and enterprise technology standards.
- Establish development and architecture best practices, coding standards, and Pega framework guidelines.
- Collaborate with integration and enterprise architecture teams to design Pega solutions that work effectively across multiple technologies.
- Work directly with the Pega vendor to investigate and resolve platform-related service requests.
- Oversee platform-level accessibility (508) issues and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure solutions meet quality, performance, and Pega guardrail requirements.
- Provide technical mentorship to developers and other architects while promoting consistent engineering practices.
- Support cross-functional teams throughout project delivery and technical problem resolution.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in technology architecture, technical leadership, or a related IT discipline.
- Significant hands‑on experience with Pega architecture and development.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure, networking, security, and technology architecture.
- Experience with Pega Infinity, including Constellation UX / Design System and Pega 8.x environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross‑functional technical teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, project‑driven environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with document or content generation, particularly PDF-based solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
