Job summary

Farmer J Limited is seeking a Front of House team member in New York to be the welcoming face of the restaurant. You’ll take orders, ring up purchases, serve food with care, and keep the front of house clean and organized.

You’ll be cross-trained to support smooth service and uphold hospitality standards and guest experience. The role offers flexible full-time or part-time schedules, opportunities to earn tips, complimentary employee meals, and team socials.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a high-volume, high-quality fast-casual or café-style restaurant
• Appreciation for real food: scratch cooking, seasonal ingredients, and sustainable practices
• Comfortable using Point of Sales System and other restaurant systems
• Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions; flexible schedule incl. nights, weekends, holidays

As a member of our Front of House team, you’re the face of Farmer J—the first point of contact for every guest. You’ll take orders, ring up purchases, serve food with care, and keep the front of house clean, organized, and welcoming. FOH team members are cross‑trained on a variety of roles to support smooth service and maintain the highest standards of hospitality, product knowledge, and guest experience.

Qualifications:
