Job summary

Buckeye Power Sales is seeking a PCE Generator Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on rental power generation equipment. You will handle start-up work, manage the rental fleet, and ensure safe delivery and pickup of units.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read wiring schematics, and excellent communication skills in English. Experience with diesel engines and electrical principles is preferred; on-call availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot from wiring schematics.
• Proficient in reading and understanding electrical principles and DC/AC circuits.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on rental power generation equipment.
• Conduct start-up and warranty work on generator equipment.
• Manage rental fleet logistics: organization, shipping and receiving.
• Safely deliver and pick up rental generator units.
• Process paperwork accurately and maintain service truck inventory.

• Responsible for parts inventory on service truck
• Further education to stay abreast of technological changes and develop knowledge base
• Must own hand tools; specialty tools will be provided by the Company or purchased via tool allowance

• Basic knowledge of diesel engines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
• Able to work well unsupervised; able to work independently
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
• Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
• Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times
• Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens
