Job summary

National Church Residences is seeking Service Coordinators to advance better living and care for seniors in our communities. You will advocate for residents, coordinate programs, and serve as a liaison to community agencies while identifying low-cost services and referrals.

Responsibilities include engaging residents, developing resource directories, sponsoring health and life-skills events, and ensuring quality customer service and support across housing, meals, transportation, and personal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferred.
• Two+ years of experience delivering social services to elderly and/or family populations preferred.
• Working knowledge of supportive services and local community resources.
• Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and deliver measurable results for residents.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, organize, problem-solve, and deliver results for residents.
• Coordinate programs and activities for residents.
• Liaise with community agencies and seek out new services for residents.
• Engage residents to identify needs and make referrals to services.
• Develop a Resource Directory of state/local providers.
• Sponsor educational events on health care, services, and life skills.
• Provide quality customer service and assist with basic needs.
• Assist residents with housing services, meals, transportation, and financial aid.
• Monitor and relay feedback from residents and families.
• Manage internal and external relationships with effective communication.
