Marine Outlet Inc is seeking a proactive Service Coordinator to link customers with our marine service team in Temple, TX. You will manage repair orders, document issues, and communicate clearly with customers to ensure a first-class service experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience as service coordinator/writer in dealership preferred.
• Basic knowledge of boats or marine engines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and professionally assess their service and repair needs
• Write up accurate repair orders, and clearly document customer concerns
• Coordinate workflow between technicians and parts department to ensure work is completed efficiently and correctly
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process. Communicate repair recommendations, estimates, timeliness, and updates to customers.
• Review completed work with customers and explain repairs and maintenance performed
• Follow up with customers upon service completion and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate service records, ensure all work is properly documented, warranty documentation, and dealership compliance paperwork
• Schedule and prioritize technician workloads to maximize shop efficiency
• Promote preventative maintenance and additional services when appropriate

About the Role:

Marine Outlet Inc is looking for an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our growing marine service department in Temple, TX. The Service Coordinator is the key connection between our customers and our service technicians, ensuring every customer receives outstanding communication and a first-class service experience.

What we are looking For:

• Previous experience as a service coordinator or service writer in a dealership: marine, RV, powersports, or automotive is preferred
• Basic knowledge of boats, marine engines, electrical systems, or related equipment is a plus
• Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• Comfortable working with computers and dealership/service management software
• A genuine interest in boating and the marine industry is highly desirable
